I want to know

My one friend has shared one image of Niagara Falls with me and told me that I have got this image from my grandfather's collection and I amazed to see this view. I have never been there personally but much heard about it. Let me share here that which she had shared with me.

I keen to know that it is the real view of this attraction or not? and also want to know that at that time in winters Niagara falls frozen like this?
